New PandaBoard ES arrived

Today finally my new PandaBoard ES arrived from Digi-Key. Here the new features compared to the former PandaBoard:
  • Dual-core 1.2 GHz ARM® Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ (OMAP4460) with SMP from Texas Instruments
  • provides 25% increase in graphics performance over OMAP4430 (but use a Imagination Technologies’ POWERVR™ SGX540 graphics core as the PandaBoard)
  • DSI Support
  • Bluetooth Low Energy Capable
  • Sysboot switch available on board
The rest of the board should be the same as on the OMAP4430 based PandaBoard. Here some pictures:

Let's start to get an openSUSE running on the machine ... I'll post updates as soon as I found the time to play around with this tiny thing.

I've (pre-)ordered it 2011/11/28 via and got the message that it was shipped on 2011/12/09 via UPS. And it finally arrived today (2011/12/12) ... exactly the date the digikey website estimated last week.

... but currently I struggle to get it even boot ... images which worked with the 'old' PandaBoard don't even boot currently ...

Order mine 12/09 got it 12/20. I had ordered the previous rev board from Mouser back in November and ship date had been delayed twice until 01/12. Found out about the new ES revision and cancelled my order. Mouser said only DigiKey is currently authorized to sell the ES board.

Does anybody know if it can use the same power supply and acrylic case as older rev board?
